Guataca – Bringing music back to schools

Written by on Jan 12, 2012 in Design, Music | No Comments

Toronto-based company of music lovers dedicated to kickin’ some groove back into schools across Canada.
Guataca is Venezuelan slang. The word is used to describe musicians who have the ability to “play by ear.” If you have Guataca, making music is something that will come naturally. Guataca Music Wear was created out of firsthand knowledge of how difficult it is for some families to afford musical instruments for their children.
We all know music is an important part of every kid’s education and development, so Guataca’s idea is to bring music back to schools. How cool is that!

So, when you purchase a Guataca Music Wear tee, a portion of the proceeds is donated directly to MusiCounts, a Canadian music education charity.

Check out their cool t-shirts and the best thing is, its for a great cause.
