As some of you may know, I like to paint murals but I don’t do them by myself, I always paint aside with my accomplices, Reggalado and Zapato Verde. I think that our styles can merge and complement really well so we’re always organizing those kind of murals activities every time we can. Something that we always wanted to make was an exhibition together, so we decided that now was the perfect time to make it happen.
We chose N.O.A.’s gallery to mount our exhibition, and frankly we couldn’t chose a better place. It’s located in the midtown, it has an awesome bar and a charming restaurant, it’s a very nice and popular place in Guatemala. We were lucky enough that the owners are our friends and they let us make whatever we wanted, and that was a one in a million opportunity that we wouldn’t miss.
The event was called “No hay papel” and we wanted to give a very personal touch to it making what we like to do as we like to do. As we had total freedom with the gallery space we decided to paint all the walls with lots of forms and characters, then we put a lot of effort an placing all the paintings in the best place possible. The Opening was incredible, all the attendees were fascinated and we got lot of positive feedback; without any doubt the exhibition was an outright success.
