Where are you from: Born in Boca Raton, Florida…..rest of family from Cali, Colombia

Before starting a project: I draw, draw, draw till it becomes the perfect sketch for my project

First job as an illustrator: Illustrating CD covers for my husband’s record label

Craziest thing you’ve done during a project: I’m pretty boring, but i like having my tv on low volume while working…not very crazy

Tunes while working: Right now a mix of The Misfits, Shonen Knife and MGMT.

Favorite place on earth: In a chihuahua sandwich

Last object you bought: A bear shaped cell phone case from San-X

If you illustrate a book, what would the title be: “En los mentes de las criaturitas” Translation: ” In the minds of the little creatures”

Technology or handmade: I really enjoy both

Favorite toy as a kid: I remember having this “Poochie” paper flower making kit. I loved that thing.

Coffee or Tea: Both! Colombian coffee and Earl Grey Tea with almond milk

Favorite Blogs: Love Grain Edit, Illustration Mundo, Tokyo Bunnie and Whorange

Candyman: Anything dark chocolate

Heroes: Yoshitomo Nara, Mary Blair, Birds and Foxes
